Movie Review: An American in Paris

I don't usually review movies, probably because I don't find very many of them engaging enough to merit a review; however, I fell in love with a new movie last night: An American in Paris.

From the opening scene to the end, I thought this movie was smart, funny, passionate, well written and overall enjoyable. I particularly liked two scenes: when Adam fantasizes about being in his own concert and plays the roles of all the instruments and the dance to An American in Paris, the song by Gershwin.

Costumes, dances, dialog, writing, acting, everything was executed with finesse...I'm sure I'll be watching this one again....in fact, I was sad to have to send it back to Netflix.
